all Billfish have to be released. a dead Billfish disqualifies the Boats and Teams count of the actual day. all other spezies need a minimum weight of 5Kg/11lbs to qualify . 1Kg is 2.2lbs.
Boats/Teams fish in a specified area from it's southern border Cabo Engano(north of the Mona Channel) til it's northern border Macao in the 3 - 20nmls distance to shore.
boats leave the Marina 7:30AM and decide themselves where in the specified area they want to get their lines wet on the start sign. fishes hooked on the 'finish' sign can be finished to fight/board. Boats/Teams need to reach the weight station no later than 1 hour after the finish sign.
the final decider after 3 fishing days for the Teams is their finishing position from the single fishing days added together, the lowest number is the winner. in case of 2 equal numbers the total points of the Teams will be the decider.
the final decider for the Boats will be the total of points reached.
while boats communicate with each others by VHF's, the hits and catches and misses during the day get reported by each boat on our private Mike's Marina on board phone lines.

on 3PM we finished a black day with just a few whites seen, no billfish hook ups on SE'ern breeze after the heavy rainfalls last night on flatened ocean.

on my Personal UNOFFICIAL COUNT the Red Eagle 1 and the Seabears are due to the individual daily rankings even on the Lead, so the Seabears would take Victory due to higher weight points over the tourney.
