Mike's Marina and all by Mike offered excursions/activities are Drop-off points for donations/school supplies/clothing/sports equipment etc. with those me and my wife Tania assist schools/ophanages and street kids in the area. i am also a Director of the Canadian "Beyond The Beach Childrens Foundation" on www.beyondthebeach.ca which provides permanent assistance for the area's Kids in need. please bring me only goodies, no cash donations. any cash will only be handled by the Foundation itself and spread out to different locations where needed. below i frequently add new Fotos of our sweeps through the area.

Special Baseballgame on May 22nd 2008 in the Yankee Stadium in Boca Chica/Dominican Republic between the Canadian National Youth Team and the Yankees Rookie A-Team. Canada winning the Yankees 8:2 for the Game we've been acompanied by the Canadian Mrs Embassador Patricia Fortier and representatives of the American Embassy St Dgo and the Dominican Embassy in Ottawa. the Game with it's visitors been arranged for Brian and Michelle Watters who brougt us 40 baseball bags of top baseball equipment donated by private people and distributors of Ottawa. i will load up fotos when the Donations reach their destins, several non-officially/governmental supported youth Baseball Teams all over the east and south coast of the Island. the donations will take place during june and july. the whole equipment been shipped to us for free by Air Canada, thank you very much for that great support. Brian and Michelle will ship such a huge donation every year when they spend their 1 week vacations in Punta Cana, a very big hug and thank you to the 2 of them. The Crowd travelling from Punta Cana to Boca Chica been Punta Cana-Mike (Mike Bryant) from the hotel EdenH who is involved in donations in the whole area on daily bases, Bronly de Jesus from IBK-Servicios Turisticos which is our Airport Transfer and Taxi Service company, Bronly provided the whole Transportation for all of us and did a great job to handle all the work to deal with Customs at the Punta Cana airport, there's been Brian Watters and his wife Michelle from Canada who had the whole idea of the donation and event and there's been me(Mike) and my wife Tania.

El Mundo Mejor in english that means "A Better World". that's the name of the Orphanages Home in Higuey. the house is the home for actually 26 Kids aged 2-14 years old, 25 Boys and 1 girl. The home accepts only Boys, the girl within the crowd is the daughter of the carekeeper Maria. Mike's Marina as the Representative of the Canadian Non Profit Foundation "Beyond The Beach Childrens Foundation" is collecting Donations, school supplies, medicines, clothing aso from visitors on our Island to assist actively the carekeeping Family. Sportfishing customers can leave their Donations with us at the Marina's Docks, but you don't need to be a Sportfishing Customer to assist the poor Kids in our Country. We pick up your highly appreciated Donations at all resorts on the entire Dominican East Coast, just drop us a e-mail on helpkids@mikesmarina.info and we shedule with you day and time to meet you at your Hotel's Lobby. All Visitors who use our Airport Transfer Services of our Associated Touroperator "IBK-Servicios Turisticos" can also leave their Donations with our Drivers upon arrival at the Airport. to help our Kids does not mean to bring big cases stuffed to the top with everything, what helps our Kids is the little bit every one is Donating.
